Can I Get RUSH Processing?

Yes, you can get RUSH processing. You'll pay extra for it, and it may not
give you substantially faster results unless you carefully read the following.

This page describes our RUSH processing option, how to request it (and when) and what you'll get.
Basically, you will not get data any faster than 1-business-day, and we will charge you 50% extra
if you click the 'Rush' box. Consequently, before you click it, check the current turnaround
time, then check the time to see if you can make the morning RUSH deadline, and make sure you'll
actually get faster service.

Here's how it works:

Non-UM clients will not be accorded RUSH service. This is only for UM clients.

Check our queue (see this page). If our turnaround time is longer than 2 days, you probably will get better service
by asking for RUSH. If turnaround is 2 days, you will ONLY benefit from a RUSH request if the sample arrives
between 8:30 AM and 3:45 PM in the morning. To request RUSH processing:

  1. When you fill out the 'Sample Submission' form, click the 'RUSH' box for each sample.
  2. Deliver the samples to us between 8:30 AM and 3:45 PM in the morning.
  3. You'll get your results back the next business day, typically between 10 AM and 2 PM.

For RUSH processing, the charge is currently $4.50 per lane (50% surcharge on our regular recharge rate),
and all special discounts (e.g. center, bulk discounts) are canceled.

If you miss the 3:45 deadline, and our turnaround times are 2 days, don't bother
requesting RUSH. Your samples will not be run that day, and you won't get faster
service the following day. If you check 'Rush', you would only waste your money.
